Our team is excited to present the second issue of the Michigan Journal of Medicine. This year, we have expanded the breadth of our journal to include case reports, perspective articles, and a proof-of-concept piece from the University of Michigan Medical School’s Medical Innovation Group.
I would like to thank the authors, the editorial team, and the faculty advisors as well as Michigan Publishing Services, the University Library, and Health Information Technology and Services for their hard work in bringing this issue to production. It was an incredible learning opportunity for all those involved, and I am excited to see what future directions the journal takes under the leadership of Joey Linzey and David Cron, the incoming Editors-in-Chief.
