Sam[ue]l L. Mitchill ALS to [Catharine Mitchill], December 23, 1806
Correspondence, 1801-1829 [Box 2, Folder 9]
Yesterday I saw Miss E. Brent in the Se- -nate Chamber. Her father the Mayor was with her. She is very pretty, & looks as well as ever I remember to have seen her. I have been so careless as not to have called yet upon this family. Miss B. inquired after you, and make the pro- -per expressions of politeness on the subject. The Bell rings to Breakfast. I must there- -fore descend and take my chance at the board So adieu my Charmer, and be happy SamLMitchill
