I hope you will have a good journey. There is rea-
-son to hope that the Journey homeword in the month
of May, will be as agreable as any you ever made,
I shall expect a letter from you, on the day before
you start, or on that day, advising me of your move-
-ments. If you stop a day in Philadelphia, write
me from that place of your arrival and prospects.
I shall thereby be advised as to your reception, and
probable arrival.

The Vice-President told me a few Even-
-ings ago, that he should leave Washington and depart
for NYork about the middle of March.
