Together with the supervisor, clerk, treasurer and justices
named in table, the other officers of the township are John D. Frost,
Commissioner of Ifighways; Josepb Johnson, Superintendent of
Schools; Thomas Owen, Inspector of Schools; Napoleon B. Davis,
and Georgye Palmonteer, Constables.
The Schools of the township are well conducted. There ar'e six
school districts, each possessing a good building. There are two
brick and four frame sc~hool-houses, valued at $4,495. The school
