1866, to Mary E. Kelly, of Berrien County.

Courtright, Edwin H.Farming and Lumbering, Highway Commissioner. Born July 24, 1860, in Calhoun
County, Mich. Came to Hudson Township October 24, I896- Married September 20, 1875, to Nettie Miller. Mrs.
Courtright was born March 14, 1868.

Township. Mr. Crakes was born in Yates
County, N. Y., September I, 1846. Came
to Michigan nine years later. Settled in
Kent County. Came to Hudson Townshipin 1887. He was married January

County. They have three children. Mr.
Crakes enlisted in Company I, 2ist Regiment, Michigan Volunteers, January 13,

and was Railroad Engineer for sixteen
years. Came to Hudson Township. Married September 25, 1874, to Jennie
Wavel, of Bay City, Mich. Mrs. Martin
was born March 28, 1857, at Three Oaks,
