[1] Copy, DNA RG 130, U.S. Army Court Martial Cases, White House Office, Register. The copy of Lincoln's endorsement is recorded in the register as a notation on the case of Henry F. Liebenau, Twenty-fifth New York Cavalry, excluded from mustering in a regiment on charges of having received considerations for appointments granted to applicants for commissions.
