Annotation

[1]   AES-P, ISLA. Lincoln's endorsement appears on a letter of Prince L. Hudgins to Austin A. King, St. Louis, January 27, 1865, asking assistance in procuring a pardon. Hudgins had been indicated for conspiracy but not tried. King endorsed recommending the pardon.
