Farwell, February 17, 1865, asking pardon for Edwin Sprague, Thirtieth Maine Volunteers, who had deserted and enlisted in the Navy. Lincoln's pardon of Sprague was promulgated in AGO Special Orders No. 94, February 25, 1865.
