bears numerous signatures including those of Charles Albright and M. M. Dimmick, attorneys for the government in prosecuting the case. Stanton's endorsement below Lincoln's is as follows: ``Referred to the Adjutant General to frame order for the prisoners discharge he being now in Fort Mifflin the order shd be addressed to General Cadwallader [George C. Cadwalader] or [Darius N.] Couch.''
