Snell, Company K, Fourteenth New Hampshire Volunteers, who was dismissed from the service for selling whisky to enlisted men. The roster of the Fourteenth New Hampshire Volunteers shows that Jason D. Snell died of disease at Carrollton, Louisiana, on April 26, 1864.
