[1]   Tarbell (Appendix), p. 412. No reply has been found. Samuel Tyler, sentenced for desertion, was transferred to Company C, Fifteenth New Jersey Volunteers and served until mustered out with the company on September 23, 1864. His pardon was announced in AGO Special Orders No. 68, February 11, 1864.
