[1]   OR, I, XXXIV, II, 52. Lincoln's endorsement is on a letter from James H. Lane and Abel C. Wilder, January 9, 1864, requesting permission for General James G. Blunt to come to Washington to consult with them ``on the subject of moving the Kansas Indians Territory and the early return of the refugees. . . .''
