[1] AES, DNA WR RG 153, Judge Advocate General, NN 2019. Lincoln's first endorsement appears on the court-martial record of Lieutenant Hartley W. Sewall, Revenue Service, cashiered and sentenced to ten years in the penitentiary for malfeasance, bribery, and perjury. The second endorsement appears on a petition in favor of Sewall. No further action by Lincoln appears.
