It is represented to me that one Dennis McCarty, is at Cumberland under sentence of death, but that the time is not yet fixed for
his execution. Please answer, telling me whether this statement is correct, and also if an order shall come to you for his execution, notify me of it at once by telegraph. A. LINCOLN.
