The bearer of this, a french lady, so far as I can understand her, had a son in our volunteer Army, who was made a prisoner at Bull-Run, and has since died, at Mobile. He was only seventeen years of age; and she wishes, if possible, to draw what is due him, or some part of it. You will know, while I do not, whether this is
