[1] Metropolitan Art Association Catalog, January 14, 1914, No. 494. According to the catalog description, this communication is an autograph dispatch. Leonard Swett did not report on his mission until November 9 (see Lincoln to Curtis, October 24, supra, and note), but Curtis replied by telegraph, November 6, ``Your orders were sent and delivered at Genl Fremonts Head Quarters November second. . . .'' (DLC-RTL).
