Annotation

[1]   AE, DLC-RTL. Lincoln's endorsement is written on a communication from the United Presbyterian Synod of New York and New Jersey sending resolutions passed by the assembly concerning slavery and the war. Secretary Seward acknowledged the resolutions and expressed the president's thanks for the invocations and support of the Synod, November 27, 1861.
