Charles Ernenwine, of Philadelphia, is a Bavarian Officer,---in this country from 1849---was Lieut. Col. to the Penn. 21st. now out of service. He wishes a respectable place in the service.

Annotation

[1]   AD, DLC-RTL. There is no record of further federal service on the part of Ernenwine who served as lieutenant colonel in the Twenty-first Pennsylvania, a three-months regiment, April 15-August 8, 1861.
