The within papers show that the Agricultural societies of most of the North-Western States wish John W. Hoyt, of Wisconsin to have a particular place in connection with the World's fair. I wish the Sec. of State, and Sec. of Interior, to fully consider the claim they present, and to give due weight to it. A. LINCOLN
Oct. 7. 1861.
