Dear Sir June 15--- 1859
The cases of Cochran & Hall against Camp & others & against J. L. D. Morrison, are already continued.
I have never had any definite arrangement with any one about a fee on these cases; and the consequence is I am bothered with them every court, without understanding any thing about them. I blame no one for this; but it would be better all round for me to either get out of the cases, or get in deep enough to understand and prepare them. Yours truly A. LINCOLN
