[1] ADf, DLC-RTL. Presumably these resolutions were drawn by Lincoln in January 1855, for the purpose of having them introduced in the legislature. The Journals of House and Senate record other resolutions concerning the Kansas-Nebraska Bill, but Lincoln's resolutions do not appear. Which of Lincoln's two drafts represent his revision is difficult to determine, but the order in which they appear seems the probable order of composition.
