[1] AES, ORB. On December 7, 1847, Chester Butler, Whig congressman from Pennsylvania, and eleven of his colleagues recommended to Robert E. Horner the retention of John Raub as a laborer in the House building. Lincoln and thirty-eight other members also signed the petition.
