[1] AD, I-Ar. The first amendment was adopted, the others rejected. The House had adopted another amendment, moved by Lincoln on February 19, adding the counties of Menard, Logan, and Dane to the Eighth Circuit. The entire act may be found in Laws of Illinois, 1839, pp. 155-56.
