Handle appears to have been broken off before firing, and its junctures with rim and shoulder roughly pared down with knife. Three holes in the wall of the stand. Buff clay with dark particles, chalky white slip and matte pink and orange-red paint. On body front is a plastic medusa head. Surface covered with slip except for lower body, stand, and underside of foot. Top of rim and upper part of neck covered with black glaze and thinned black glaze on top of stand. Traces of pink on neck and pink bands on shoulder and lower body. Below remains of handle is a pink palmette. Elsewhere faint traces of pink on body. Edge of stand is orange red
