- Both weft-wise edges of the fragment, as well as 3 cm of an adjacent warp-wise edge were folded and sewn with yellow overcast stiches, possibly, the same yarn. These stitches measure from 0.2 cm to 0.7 cm. There are a few more yellow stitches between the oval row and the edge of the fragment. These stitches measure from 0.3 cm to 0.6 cm. Another small piece of similar fabric is caught on one side in these stitches as well as a row of brown stitches. These stitches measure from 0.2 cm to 0.5 cm. There is a similar stitch, 0.2 cm long, closer to the yellow oval row with an overhand knot at one end. This same yarn also was used at the curve of the oval row, next to the folded edge of the fragment. The stitch is 0.3 cm long and there is an overhand knot at one end.
