- Full Artifact Description
- Spindle whorl. Domed circular piece of opaque black (purple?) glass. Top slightly flattened, bottom slightly concave. Central vertical piercing. Top decorated with a rough cross-shaped design made up of irregular segments of opaque light blue and opaque orange-red canes thinly trailed on and smoothed in. Between the arms of the cross are four thin cane slices of opaque light blue circles with opaque purple dots in bull’s eye pattern, also smoothed in.
