- Full Artifact Description
- Ovoid jug of transparent yellow-green glass. Intact. Milky and enamel weathering. Some bubbles and black impurities. Blowing spirals with traces of stone. Material good. Rim flares out sharply to plain rounded edge. Columnar neck widening down into ovoid body. Pad base re-worked as flattened uneven foot with diagonal tooling marks. Deep pontil scar. Ribbon handle, smoothed out, attached at shoulder and folded down and pressed up against underside of rim. Cut off at top. A thick trail of glass around base of rim and around base of neck. Rim pushed up slightly by handle fold.
