Full Artifact Description: Fragment of yellowed woven wool fabric with remnants of very similar (possibly the same) fabric sewn on.

Condition Notes: Very dirty and worn. There is one interior hole and there are several areas of damaged wefts that leave exposed warps. Edges are frayed.
Fabric Structure: Weft-faced plain weave.

Sewing: There are several 2-ply stitches in a row, along one warpwise edge, that angles across the fragment. These stitches measure from 0.6 cm to 0.9 cm long. There is an overhand knot in the row. Many of these stitches are damaged. There are small pieces of similar fabric attached at each end, weftwise, with two strand yarns. These stitches measure from 0.4 cm to 0.5 cm long.
