Full Artifact Description: Fragment of a sprang cap with blue, red, yellow and green patterning. There are remnants of seams using red sprang yarn.

Condition Notes: Dirty, very worn and very fragmented. There are small areas of encrusted mud. The fabric is stiff. There is some edge fraying.
Fabric Structure: 1/1 interlinking sprang with extra yarns twining through the interlinked structure.
Structure Details: There is blue spranging with red and yellow twining decoration. This fragment appears to have seams sewn with the same red used for the sprang.
Sewing: There are modern repairs with a black sewing thread.
