Full Artifact Description
Light brown clay. Chubby winged Eros, stands behind and holds onto a bird, perhaps goose, or swan, or duck. Outstretched wings and body of goose hide torso of boy. Bird and boy skim over rippling blue water. Well preserved paint. Goose has white body, red beak and feet. Wings red on top, gradually turning pink below. Eros has pruplish-red hair, red lips and flesh-colored skin. His eyes have blue eyeballs and brown pupils. Back of piece unpainted.
