- Full Artifact Description
- The youth Harpocrates, draped to ankles and standing frontally, leans toward a conical pillar above which rests left arm with cornucopia. He looks forward and holds right forefinger to lip. Wears pointed headdress (probably a corruption of the double crown of upper and lower Egypt) in a flounced affair of snail curls. Forehead is framed with striated strands of hair. Digits indicated. Low, foreshortened rectangular base shown in three distorted planes front. Back flat and unindicated. Pinkish brown clay moulded solid.
