Full Artifact Description
Concentric fold projects around top of vessel, just below rim. (”Cutting out”, according to Harden). Convex sides taper down to ring base, called a “pushed in base” by Harden. Bottom has conical kick extending up into vessel. Short cylinder attached to kick on inside probably held wick. Ring base has short, rounded, flaring sides. Pontil mark. Vessel slightly asymmetrical.
