- Full Artifact Description
- Human-headed canopic jar. Sides of jar are of irregular thickness. Base rounded and unstable. Perhaps hand built by coil method. Face is oval and yellow. Red-edged headdress covers ears and flares slightly to meet bevelled base of the lid. Two inscriptions: a simple vertical inscription in one column of Dynasty XVIII date and an inscription in black over the first, apparently of modern date. Traces of plaster and paint survive. Body extensively repaired.
