Full Artifact Description
Long wood handle, turned with elaborate design of incised lines and projections. One end of handle rounded and tapered; other end has a bronze collar. A square iron rod ca. 12.4 cm projects from flat end of handle. Rod is flattened out at top.
Bow drill. Wood, iron, bronze (Karanis Revealed, Wilfong).
