Within an incised circle, the stamp MONTA/VS in rectangle with lunate ends, Montanus:
There were two potters by this name, one of La Graufesenque, active during the reign of Claudius through Vespasian, and the other active during the Trajan-Antonine period. Presumably from Pozzouli or Cumae.
