Pleasant—Rehearsing & reading A.M. Studying P.M. When there is a piece to be played in which the leading part has not been played by any other member of the company, it is given to me—not so so much because it is mine by right, but because it is difficult to make much of an impression in a new part where the time for studying it has been short. W Ah, well! my time stay with this management is fast drawing to a close—At Theatre 7 P.M. Fine house.
