Sund. (Sunday) 13th Pleasant—Settled my bills—sent baggage on board steamer "Telegraph"—bidade good bye [sic goodbye] to acquanitances [sic acquaintances] —and at 12 M. (Midnight) we started for Cincinnatti [sic Cincinnati] —expect the trip was a very pleasant one—dont [sic don't] know for certain having slept nearly all the way up the river—the effect of not getting to bed this A.M. till early cock crow
