—Hot—but a good breeze blowing—I spent two months in Louisville very pleasantly among Strangers—I return to Cinn. (Cincinnati) to join my friend and now am likely to spend two months miserably—Went to bed 10 A.M. [sic P.M.] —early for me—National opens tomorrow night—Rehearsed this morning.
