- Steep mountainsides in pine-oak forest (zone of broadleaved trees in barrancas). Abundant. Woody vine with rubbery stems, climbing 5-6 m. high on trees; banner purplish green; wings lavender, showy. Coordinates from protologue. Type verification: ! R.K. Rabeler, 2008
