- In the last column, a page of benedictions: the heading Barukh (Blessed) is printed, illuminated, and flanked by lions rampant. Below, five heroes of the Purim play, each holding an oval cartouche with the inscriptions (in sepia): "Cursed be Haman who sought to slay me;" "Blessed be Mordecai the Judean!"; "Cursed be Zeresh, my menacer's wife"; "Blessed be Esther, my protectress!"; "Harbonah, too, be well remembered" (from the Purim liturgy)
