KIRKWOOD, ALEXANDER (B.D.M., Vol. III, p. I65). This
talented Engraver, son of Alexander Kirkwood who died in I879,
and chief of the firm Kirkwood and Son, was entrusted, on the
accession of George V., with the execution of the Counter Seal for
Scotland.
