AUDIER, MATHIEU (French) of Limoges; Mint-master at Toulouse, I522; before that at Limoges, I513, and in I529 at La Rochelle. AUDIGRANT, RICHARD (French). Mint-engraver at Bourges, circ. I490-I493. AUDINELLE, GUILLAUME (French). Mint-master at Dijon, 598. AUDRAN, GERARD (B. D. M., Vol. I, I904, p. 87). There is a medal by Petit of him in the Galerie Metallique Series, 1822. AUDYER, FRANCOIS (French). Mint-master at Poitiers, I543- 549. AUGIER, JACQUES I (French). Mint-engraver at Bourges, circ. I493 -AUGIER, JACQUES II (Vide AUGER, B. D. M., Vol. I, 1904, p. 88). Goldsmith of Bourges, appointed Mint-engraver there in I549; resigned his office in favour of his son in I58I. He executed in I562 and I564 the seals of the city of Bourges, and "cut and engraved" in 1576 the medal presented by the city to the Duke of Alencon, brother of Henry III, for which he was paid 35 livres.
