(E. Fischer, and Anton Reisinger). FISCHER, HANS GEORG (Gernm.). Mint-warden at Augsburg, I680 -I706. FISCHER, JAKOB (Germ.). Mint-master at Ratisbon, circa I586 -I587. FISCHER, J. B. (Span.). A medal, in Mr. Maurice Rosenheim's Collection, dated I682, with full figure of King Charles II. of Spain, standing on lion, on obv. and P1L. Queen Marie Louise de Bourbon, is signed on IL. J. B. FISCHER. It is mentioned by Bolzenthal; see illustration B.D.M., Vol. VI, pp. 284-5. The Vidal Quadras y Ramon Catalogue, n~ I2897, describes another medal of Charles II., dated I666, which has on /L. the arms of Caballero Juan Baltasar de Visscher, Sefior de Celles Poltes, Schiplaken y Neverden. Mint-master at Oettingen, 1394, and Oehringen, 1395. FLACHERON, JEAN FRANCOIS CHARLES ANDRE dit FREDERIC (French). Sculptor of Lyons, son of an architect, born in I8io, entered about I830 the School of Fine Arts in Rome, where in r839 he obtained a Mention honorable for gem- and medalengraving, and in I840 the second Grand Prix (Herakles crushing Antaeus).
