In I9I4 he engraved a satirical medal on the European War, showing on obv. Germany, as a warrior, beating France, Russia and England, symbolised by the cock, bear and bull-dog; varieties. A. D. Monetarius (Moneyer) at Worms, circ. 1000. ADMON (B.D.M., Vol. I, I904, p. 25). A cameo with bust of Tiberius, onyx, in the British Museum, xvi. cent., bears the signature Peace of Breda.
