The Negro's church,.

The Message of the Minister 87 meekness and humility; we do not know His forgiveness; we do not know those qualities of God, except that we have seen them and do see them in Jesus Christ, and when we take Jesus Christ out, there is not much left of God. God in order to let us see Him as he is had to show Himself in the form of Jesus Christ and we can look at Jesus Christ and know what God is like. We can see Jesus forgiving the sinner. We can see Jesus humbling himself before his persecutors and we know the spirit of God is in him. We can see the meekness of Jesus. We can see how Jesus loved mankind in whatever walk of life. Therefore, we see how God loves all mankind. GOD IS REVENGEFUL The Lord spoke to Manasseh and the people and he tried to warn them of doing those things which created evil in the heart of God. But they would not heed God. We have so many folks today to whom God is speaking, trying to get them to repent, to listen, but they are stubborn. The Christian world is not in harmony with God and God is pleading for them to come back to Him, but the folks won't hear God. So God causes calamity to come unto them. You are too busy with things of the world to stop and confer with God. You are compassed about with things of the world and saying that it is impossible for you to find time to work for God. God will lay such persons on the bed of affliction-too busy to serve Him. A GOD OF DETERMINATION, CRUELTY AND ARBITRARINESS The elect are God's children chosen before the world was. God foresaw that they would accept Jesus Christ by grace-God had his attitude toward Jacob and Esau before either was born as He knew what they would be. TRUSTING GOD A PANACEA FOR ALL ILLS If you know how to stay in touch with God, you can win any battle. David stayed in touch with God and he won his battle. I think sometimes we can be wonderful if we know how to stay in touch with God on our knees. I fear prayer has no charm
