sikatimuna. Ular sekatimuna: a fabulous
serpent of monstrous size, slain by Sang
Seperba's sword Chura Simandang Kini. This
sword (with the notches resulting from this
encounter) is often mentioned among the
regalia of Menangkabau.
sdkara. A flower. Only used in very poetical language.
s6karang. Now, at this time. S. ini: at
this very moment.
sikat. I. Being in the way, obstructing,
intercepting, interposing oneself in a man's
way, blocking, barring the passage. Di-sgkat
uleh Shah Mengindgra Ratenalogam: his passage was barred by Shah M. R.; Ht. Sh.
Kub. Sggala parit habis di-sekat: all the
drains were blocked; Sh. Bah. Sing., 5.
Sikatan: a bar, an obstruction to traffic;
