of the king's gift to Robert de Mares to maintain himself in the

de Stopham, king's serjeant, for a horse in recompense of one

To the sheriffs of London. Contrabreve to pay 100s. to Nicholas
Purcell and William de Sancto Jermano, king's serjeants-at-arms,
on the wages they receive from the king. By J. Maunsell.
To the bailiffs of Suthampton. Contrabreve to carry 20 tuns
of wine, which Roger le Flemeng, taker of the king's wines, will
deliver, to Clarendon to place in the king's cellar there.

which the said Roger will deliver to Theobald de Engleschevil

Pateshull, afflicted (labore, rectius laboret) with insanity by the
evil nature of the air, the king wishing him to be restored to
his due health; and to keep him safely till further orders,

de Ferariis, earl of Derby, out of the issues of the last eyre at
Leicester, being arrears for Easter term in the 36th year of his

and vestments for the service of the king's chapel at Dorc' and
deliver them to the king's chaplain ministering there, and to
