Contrabreve to pay out of the Westminster. farm of their town for a tun of prisage-wine which the king ordered to be delivered by the keepers of his wines there to Walter de Burges of his gift. Mandate to the keepers accordingly. July 3. To Nicholas de Haudlou, keeper of the bishopric of Winchester. Westminster. Contrabreve to admit Henry, William, and Richard de Caundover, John Luvel, and John le Naper, king's huntsmen, whom the king is sending to take 30 bucks in the parks of the bishopric and 10 stags in its chases against the coming parliament, where the least damage may be done to the said parks and chases, and as Nicholas will provide by counsel of the huntsmen; and to salt the venison and carry it to the king at Westminster in the said parliament. Liberate without delay to Aubrey de Fiscampis and Peter de Winton, clerks of the wardrobe, 601. for the expenses of the household. To the sheriff of Gloucester. Contrabreve to repair without delay where necessary the king's 11 weirs which are in the keeping of Matthias Bezil, keeper of Gloucester castle, so that for lack of such repair the king shall not incur loss of lampreys or 33-(22)
