Liberate to Hoel son of Maddok, who was disinherited on the
king's account by the king's enemies of Wales, 40 marks of the
king's gift. By John Mansel.
Nov. 5. Liberate to Simon de Genvyle 25 marks for Michaelmas term
Westminster. in the 43rd year and 25 marks for Easter term following of his
yearly fee of 50 marks, [because he is gone on the king's errand
beyond seas].* By H. le Bigod, justiciar, at the queen's request.
Nov. 6. To Richard de Fremantel. Contrabreve to finish the works
Westminster. begun by Henry de Farleye in the castle of Windesores by order
of the king, and to repair the defects of the king's buildings of
Kenyton where absolutely necessary, all out of the issues of his
bailiwick.
Liberate to Aubrey de Fiscampis and Peter de Winton, clerks
of the wardrobe, 100 marks for the expenses of the household.
Liberate to Stephen Buet 20 marks for Michaelmas term in the
43rd year of his yearly fee of 20 marks. By H. le Bigod.
Liberate to Geoffrey de Burlemund 201. in part payment of the
arrears of his yearly fee of 401. By H. le Bigod, justiciar.
Liberate to Bernard de Bevyll, going on the king's errand to the
parts of Agen, 30 marks of the king's gift for his expenses.

Liberate to William Bonquor 40 marks for his recent expenses
in going on the king's errand to France with Richard de Clare,
earl of Gloucester, staying there, returning to England, and staying with the king there for 22 weeks.

Liberate to John de Cokefeud and Drew de Barentino, who are
going with the king to the parts of France, 201. each of the king's
gift for their expenses. By the said earl and justiciar.
Nov. 7. Liberate to Bernard de Ligonie 201. 16s. for 16 tuns of purchased
Westminster. wine, to Peter Garnasche 151. for 10 tuns, to Peter de Navare
81. 15s. for 7 tuns, to William Imil 131. 15s. for 11 tuns, to John
de Norwico 221. 12s. 8d. for 17 tuns, and to Arnold Kaberer
40s. for 2 tuns, taken by Peter de Gisorciis the king's chamberlain
of London, as testified by Giles de Argentem and Imbert Pogeys
the king's stewards.
