Contrabreve to provide the king with a fit chaplain by the counsel of Gilbert de Gaunt, constable of the castle of Scardeburg, to celebrate divine service in the chapel there, to let him have 50s. yearly for his wages as long as he is sheriff by view and testimony of Gilbert, and to find a lamp burning there night and day, the cost to be credited by view and testimony of Gilbert, as the king wishes service to be celebrated there daily as in the chapels of his other castles throughout England.
